I have started to get more babysitting jobs for friends and neighbors, so today I would just like to share some fun activities you can do while you're over babysitting. When I babysit, I try to bring one new item, whether it be a book or a coloring page, to play with them so it is new and exciting every time I come, and the kids always enjoy it.
1.) Marshmallow Catapult
The kids loved this when I brought this over to make, and all it requires is a couple Popsicle sticks, rubber bands and a spoon. This kept them entertained for at least 30 minutes!
2.) Pop up Books
i brought this book to the neighbors house and they loved it! Kids love any interactive books, so these will be a hit at your next babysitting job.
3.) Yarn dolls
These little dolls are so cute and so easy to make. I even made some little aprons for them with my sewing machine. If you have any yarn lying around, have some fun with it at your next babysitting job!
4.) Origami Houses
These easy houses are perfect for your yarn dolls to play in! All they require is a square piece of paper and a little folding skills!
5.) Friendship Bracelets
These fun bracelets only need some embroidery floss, you don't even need the special stand, you can just tape it to a clip board and knot away! Girls especially love this project!
6.) Leapfrog Movies
I don't know if you watched the Letter Factory or Story Book Factory when you were little, but these movies from Leapfrog are a hit for younger kids and educational, so the parents are happy too!
